Moving Body Festival

Hype Communication is the PR agency serving Moving Body festival. The Moving Body festival will be held for the eighth time in a row in Varna between July 7th and 9th. The initiative began as a festival for contemporary dance, to acquire today very wide dimensions, in which artists from all over the world explore movement as a manifestation of spirit, creativity and a conduit of messages. How do we move? What makes us move? What are we moving towards? How do we transform from an individual body to a collective one, shaping the future? How do we move during a crash? – these are just a few of the questions that the festival sets out to explore, going far beyond pure dance and reaching projects that we could more accurately define as representatives of the movement arts. The eighth edition of Moving Body includes screenings of an international selection of short films for 2023, a dance and cinema workshop with international mentors; discussions with local and international journalists, directors, choreographers and other special guests of the festival, as well as live performances of the latest works by Violeta Vitanova and Stanislav Genadiev, as well as by Zhana Pencheva in collaboration with the Varna musician Tsvetan Momchilov.
